Richard Martin Lighting (RML)was established in 1982 having recognised a need for moving lighting effects within television, which were not only innovative, but also capable of meeting the high safety standards required by the industry.Due to the demand, RML set up a manufacturing company, researching and developing a new range of moving lighting effects, e.g. Cosmos Ball/Twist/Pillar, originally supplying these effects to the BBC. In 1987 RML concentrated its efforts in the hire field, forming the company you know today. We offer an extensive range of the latest products at competitive prices and have the flexibility to meet your requirements, providing support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. TECHNICAL Richard Martin Lighting provides quality lighting, control desks, cabling and professional technicians to the television industry. Our in-house technical team proficiently service our extensive range of moving heads and LED lighting, ensuring RML equipment is constantly maintained and updated. Electrical regulations specify that all electrical equipment is tested for electrical and mechanical safety at regular intervals, thus our technical team ensure all of our equipment is PAT tested as and when required. The technical department works closely with our team of RML technicians based in the television studios – ensuring we can turnaround equipment efficiently.
