So you think you know your neighbours? Maybe for a cup of sugar, or to keep an eye on the house whilst you’re on holidays, but enough to trust them to win you a share in a big cash prize? Well that is exactly what happens on the new Scottish quiz show ‘Postcode Challenge’.
Angus Purden hosts the show on STV which is has a fresh look created by Lighting Designer Roger Williams. Chris Webster designed the set. There were 40 shows over 3 blocks filmed in the new high spec BBC Glasgow's Pacific Quay studio B. This state of the art centre has the first high-definition facility of its kind in Europe.
Two teams with the same postcode from across the country compete in various nail biting knock-out rounds before the winning team has the chance to win £25,000 in the Cash Ladder Final.
Richard Martin Lighting provided the lighting with the support of TSL Glasgow. The rig included VL100TS, 300mm Chroma Strips and MR16 Set Kit. The smaller MR16 LED Chroma Hearts continue to prove to be very popular with Set and Lighting Designers alike.
I certainly wouldn’t mind being invited to one of the winner’s street parties!
