Minute To Win It Minimize

On your marks...get set...go!

The prime time NBC game show, Minute to Win It is about to hit our UK screens.  Lighting Designer Will Charles, supported by Richard Martin Lighting (RML) has been ‘picked’ to implement the originally American show to the British audience.

Darren McMullen referees Joe Swash and Caroline Flack as they battle head-to-head in the new eight-part series. Each week, Swash and Flack captain groups of friends as they compete in hilarious and bonkers 60-second challenges using everyday household objects.

Minute to Win It is a world-renowned format and McMullen is also the host of Minute to Win It Down Under. Scotsman Darren, host of the hit NBC Show Love In The Wild, said, “I've hosted many shows in several different countries around the world and I can honestly say that I've never had so much fun in my TV life than I had during the filming of Minute To Win It UK."

To complete the very strong and sporty look of the show, Will chose RML LED 12 Lights, GLP Impressions, Sharpys, VL1000TS, VL3500 Washes and Chroma Banks.

Will created a number of looks for various parts of the show. The use of RML LED 12 Lights to look like a US sports stadium being a favourite of mine.

The series, in association with Cadbury Spots v Stripes is being produced by Shine TV and NBCUniversal International from an original format created by Friday TV. Cadbury Spots v Stripes launched in 2010 and the next phase in association with Minute To Win It will include additional activity around the TV show designed to get people of all ages and walks of life to play games again.

With that in mind and with the dark nights looming, we are sure it will be a great success!
