ITV4’s new sports panel show ‘Kicks Off’, hosted by comedian Mark Watson, starts this month!

It has been brought to our screens by the makers of Radio Five Live's cult Saturday morning show Fighting Talk.

 The show, which is filmed before a live studio audience, has an unusual twist in that guests on the panel receive points for unique opinions, punditry and showing ‘passion for the pitch’ rather than 'correct' answers to some of the most bizarre and common sports questions.

 Richard Martin Lighting supports LD Will Charles, who opts for a small yet effective lighting rig of LED Strip, LED 12 Lights and Pixel Par 90’s to set off the ‘bright and bold’ set design.

The PixelPar 90 is a high output solid state lighting projector designed to deliver a symmetrical beam angle. The PixelPar 90 contains 30 red, green and blue 1 watt luxeon emitters, configured into hexagonal array. Designed to run as a silent convection cooled unit – the fixture is also fully self contained.

 When asked about his design Will told me “Despite being a first series for ITV4 and therefore being on a very tight budget Worlds End Productions understandably wanted to achieve the same high production value look as seen on high profile comedy panel shows. The LED 12 lights in particular tied in with designer Jonathan Green’s sports stadium styled set. “
