When it comes to long running successful game shows, they don’t get much better than Family Fortunes. The show was first aired back in 1980 when it originally ran with the title Family Feud (based on the US show). Since then it has been continuously developed with changes to the name, host and contestants. 

All Star Family Fortunes is now filming its sixth series!

Cheeky chappy Vernon Kay presents the ITV show which is designed by Dave Davey and supported by Richard Martin Lighting (RML).

The lighting rig includes Stage Colour 300, Mac 500 and Mac 600.

The industry standard MAC 600 is a powerful wash light with a CMY colour mixing system, 440° of pan and 306° of tilt and a fast and smooth movement.

Each show, two teams of five family members (headed up by a celebrity captain) go head to head trying to guess the top answers in a series of open ended survey questions given to 100 members of the general public. At the end of this, the teams play Big Money. One member from each team are given the same 5 questions and have to try and guess the top answers within 15 seconds and cannot duplicate the answer. All prize money raised goes to the teams chosen charities.
